Greg Mably was born in Toronto, Canada and graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design.

He draws upon diverse sources for inspiration - natural objects and surfaces, typography, mid-20th century design and architecture, psychedelic rock posters and pop art.

As a member of the artist collective Picture Mechanics he has exhibited at the Museum of American Illlustration at the Society of Illustrators in New York, the 69A Galley in San Francisco, and the Zeitgeist Gallery in Nashville.

He has received awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), American Illustration, National Magazine Awards (Canada) and the Advertising & Design Club of Canada.
